Forged with a FC61 fine carbide steel core, the blade is protected by 48 layers of stainless steel, forming a unique Damascus pattern with a wavy katana edge. The blade undergoes the advanced FRIODUR® ice-hardening process, giving it exceptional hardness (approx. 61 HRC), edge retention, and durability.
The ergonomic black Pakka wood handle provides comfort and control for fatigue-free cutting, accented with a mosaic pin, decorative red ring, and steel end cap. Handcrafted in Seki, Japan, this versatile chef’s knife is ideal for slicing, chopping, and dicing meat, fish, and vegetables—making it the go-to knife for everyday kitchen tasks.
