Free Sample Knife Terms and Conditions
As part of our commitment to providing an exceptional experience, culinary school students or chefs in Canada may request a free knife sample for testing under the following conditions:
- Availability: The availability of the knife for testing is not guaranteed and is subject to stock availability, which may vary.
- Deposit: A refundable deposit will be charged before shipping the knife for testing
- Original Box: To qualify for the free sample program, the knife sample must be returned in its original box.
- Sample Duration: The free test knife can be retained for a period not exceeding one week (5 business days) from the date of receipt.
- Geographical Limitations: Currently, the free sample program is exclusively available in Canada. We have plans to expand to the USA and other regions in the future.
- Product Review Requirement: After testing, students or chefs must post a product review, preferably with pictures. Your feedback is valuable to us and helps us enhance our offerings.
- Application Process: To apply for the free sample, simply choose the desired knife for testing and contact us at info@japanchefknife.com with the subject line: "Test Sample."
- Shipping: All shipping and return shipping costs will be prepaid by JapaneseChefKnife.com, ensuring a seamless and cost-free experience for our valued customers.

But I would recommand to put some flax oil (or mineral) on the handle before use.

Beautiful blade Gorgeous handle nice and sharp ! My only thing some nakiris online are quite tall almost looking like a cleaver this blade is shorter in height but it handles itself beautifully
Super light sharp blade ! My only comment is if you are looking at the photos the blade may look a little more blue in the photos posted then what I received but amazing quality and looks great still
Great little knife blade is sharp fits well in the hand a little large for a paring knife a little small for a utility knife it falls right in the middle which is nice especially with working with fruit
