Nakiri Literally means “vegetable knife” in its original Japanese name, it is specifically for cutting vegetables. It is suitable for chopping and dicing ingredients because there is no tip and the blade is straight. Historically, it has been used on a daily basis by the general population as it was designated as the easy-to-use knife for everyone. The blade has no curvature and the straight blade is easy to sharpen and handle. Unless the person is familiar, it is often hard to cleanly sharpen a knife with curves; however, there is no worry with this type of vegetable knife.

What a beautiful knife. The hammered pattern on the blade is not only beautiful, it helps release food when chopping. The knife is very well crafted. It’s extremely sharp and well balanced. Craftsmanship, features and eye catching good looks make this knife a great buy for the price point.
...and speedy delivery
A beautifully-balanced knife
Very quick delivery
The handle is not polished enough, feel a little bit scratchy.
Amazing looking knife (true to the picture), you will not be disappointed! Very good quality build and definitely up to the task of being used as your main chef's knife! Shipped and arrived very quickly as well.
Gift wrapped and polished my first impression was awe the weight and balance of the knives is perfect with wood handle for perfect styling . I’m so pleased
A much appreciated gift for a skilled home chef, it's beautiful, incredible for slicing all the veggies and so happy to shop local!
Great for a first set!
I’m always a little sceptical when ordering from a new site online, but they were very friendly and helpful, even shipped out the next day!! It was for a gift, but so happy with it! Thank you kindly :)
My first Japanese knife and I love it.
This is what you expect from a Japanese knife , Highly recommended.
It's a multi tool of kitchen. Slice & dice meat/veggies the way you like.
Premium Quality Blade and well balanced , easy to handel.
