Update: it’s been well over a month since I posted my original review and I’m increasing it from 4 to 5 stars. This has become my ‘go to’ knife because of how well it handles. I find it so easy to control compared to my other knives and this has allowed me to increase my precision while cooking. I really enjoy using it.Initial review: I like this knife, overall. It’s easy to handle and it’s very sharp. The tang is exposed along the upper side of the handle and the handle, itself, is wooden and feels good to hold. It’s also fastened well to the blade.My only minor complaint is that it’s on the light side as far as its weight. I always feel like I have more control when a knife has a bit of weight to it. I do think it’s quite nice, though, but maybe priced a bit high.

But I would recommand to put some flax oil (or mineral) on the handle before use.
