The blade features a core of MC66 micro-carbide powdered steel, CRYODUR ice-hardened to approximately 66 HRC for remarkable durability and long-lasting sharpness. Wrapped in 132 additional layers of steel, the blade forms an elegant 133-layer floral Damascus pattern that is as beautiful as it is functional.
The beautifully finished D-shaped maple wood handle is designed for comfort during extended food preparation. Enhanced with a decorative mosaic pin and stainless steel end cap, it provides excellent control while complementing the striking Damascus blade.
Each knife is hand-finished using the traditional three-step Honbazuke honing process, creating an ultra-sharp edge with a 9.5°–12° angle per side for effortless, precise cutting.
