The hammered tsuchime finish creates tiny air pockets along the blade, so vegetables, fish, and boneless meats release cleanly instead of sticking.

Seki has been making blades for over 800 years, and the Kuro series carries that lineage forward with a redesigned octagonal handle for a more secure, fatigue-free grip. The 32-layer Damascus pattern isn't just beautiful - it gives the blade resilience and a razor-sharp edge that holds up to daily use.
