Safety Instructions — Cast Iron Cookware

1. General Safety Warnings

• Your cast iron cookware (including the pot/pan, handles, and lid knobs) can become very hot during use. To avoid burns:
  
  Always handle with heat-resistant gloves, pot holders, or silicone handle covers.
  
• Never place hot cookware directly on unprotected surfaces. Protect countertops or table tops with trivets or heat pads.
  

2. Stove and Flame Safety

• When cooking on a gas stove, adjust the flame to match the diameter of the cookware’s base.
  
  Flames must never protrude beyond the edges of the cookware’s bottom, as this can damage the sides, handles, or cause a fire hazard.
  
• Be careful with long handles:
  Never let the handle extend over the front of the stove or over another heat source, which could lead to tipping or burns.

3. Heat Protection

• Handles, lids, and knobs may reach extremely high temperatures during cooking — even when not directly above heat.
  
  Always use thermal protection (oven gloves, pot holders, insulated grips) when lifting, stirring, or removing from heat.
  

4. Use on Different Heat Sources
